People and places

I didn’t set out to make this album with a theme. It just happened. It’s a collection of stories centered around the people in my life and the places I’ve been. These things will always be mine, they can’t be taken away or bought. I think it’s important in this day and age to do what you want and to do it with authenticity. There’s no script or formula. Sure, you can have beliefs and rules to help steer your ship. But at the end of the day, nobody really knows why we are here, or for what purpose. We’re just a blip in time. Leave a piece of you.

This album was mostly self-produced in my home studio, which consists of a laptop, mic, and interface. Recording locations included hallways, bathrooms, and unfinished basements. Feeling the groove, making music on the move. All the artwork for the singles is photographs that directly correspond to the back stories of the songs. “Forever Youth” was taken by Emy. “People and Places” was taken by my good friend D while on a visit up here on the Oregon Coast.

This album is dedicates to my friends and family.
